A Boiler Service Plan For The Whole Year, From £12.99 A Month
A boiler care plan with the annual service built in, priority booking when something goes wrong, and three tiers that state in writing what’s included. Prices include VAT.
Without A Boiler Service Plan, The Breakdown Bill Lands All At Once
Boilers serviced late, or not at all, tend to be the ones that fail.
Miss the yearly service and the manufacturer warranty can go with it, because the maker wants a record of each one.
Off a plan, a breakdown means the office line from 9am to 3pm, the next free slot, and £96 including VAT for the first hour, then parts.
What we hear on service visits:
- “I can’t afford a £3,000 unexpected bill right now.”
- “My heating won’t last the winter, and I’ll be cold.”
Boiler Care books the service from a reminder, moves you up the queue, and prints every limit before you sign.
What Makes Boiler Care Different?
The limits live on this page, in plain English.
British Gas starts at £22 a month and charges more for add-ons or a lower excess.

Boiler Care is a service and maintenance agreement, and this page plus the terms tell you where its edges are.

The Questions That Decide It
A boiler maintenance plan is only worth signing when you read the terms before the price.
-
Is this insurance?
No. Boiler Care is a service and maintenance agreement: First Point supplies the services listed in your tier. Read the terms before buying; they’re written to be readable.
-
What happens once my included breakdown events are used?
Further breakdown work stays available at the applicable member rate, with your tier’s labour discount, and any cost gets explained before chargeable work goes ahead.
-
Can any boiler join Care or Complete?
The boiler has to be accepted onto the plan, which can involve an initial inspection or service. Pre-existing faults aren’t included, and breakdown services start after a 30-day waiting period (the annual service isn’t held back by it).
-
Does the plan include my radiators and pipework?
Boiler Care looks after the registered boiler. Radiators, valves, pipework and cylinders sit outside it, and that work stays bookable with your member discount on eligible labour.
-
What if the fault comes from sludge in the system?
Faults caused by sludge or scale aren’t included. If an engineer finds a water-quality problem, you get the finding and the recommended fix, and you’re free to have that work done by anyone.
Common Questions About Boiler Care
Give notice before the initial 12 months end, or cancel the rolling agreement afterwards with up to one month’s notice. Distance sign-ups also carry the statutory 14-day cooling-off period.
Members call a priority line that’s open 6am to midnight, seven days a week, and get booked ahead of non-members. The aim is an engineer with you within 24 working hours, and an emergency reported out of hours gets priority booking for the next working day where possible. We don’t promise fixed response times or 24-hour attendance.
The £96 first-hour rate is our standard local rate. Different pricing can apply further out, and you hear the applicable price before booking chargeable work.
Yes, subject to the boiler being accepted onto the plan; an initial inspection or service may be asked for first.
The first hour is £96 including VAT (£80 plus VAT) in our local area, then parts and any further labour. There’s no call-out fee.
Not during the first 12 months, apart from tax or legal changes. After that, any change comes with notice and the chance to cancel before it applies.
Yes. The first year of Essential comes free with every boiler we fit. After that you choose: carry on at £12.99 a month including VAT, move up a tier, or stop.
No. Power flushing and system flushing sit outside the plan. If your system needs one, you get the price first and book it as a separate job.
