Water Where It Should Not Be?
Call our emergency plumber on 01663 797412, 9am to 3pm on weekdays. Care plan members have a priority line from 6am to midnight, every day. There is no call-out fee: you pay by the hour for time on site and hear the rate when you book.
Every Minute The Water Runs, The Repair Gets Bigger
Stop the water first. Then you need an emergency plumber who can reach you.
A burst pipe or a boiler that dies in January won’t wait for a quiet afternoon.
The three answers you need before anyone knocks:
- Can someone help me stop the water right now?
- Will I hear the price before the work starts?
- Are they close enough to get here quickly?
You hear the rate when you book, from a team based in New Mills.
If It’s One Of These, Stop Reading And Call
Some situations can’t wait for a callback slot, so ring us on 01663 797412.

We’ll talk you through shutting off the water or the boiler while you’re on the line.

Emergency Call-Out Questions
There’s no call-out fee. You pay by the hour for the time on site, and the first hour is £96 including VAT in our local area.
We’re too far to be fast, and speed is the whole point. Call someone closer.
Out-of-hours call-outs are a care plan member benefit. The members’ priority line is open 6am to midnight, seven days a week, and an emergency reported out of hours gets priority booking for the next working day where possible, rather than a promised response time. Non-members ring the office line 9am to 3pm and take the next available appointment.
Find the stop tap, usually under the kitchen sink or where the water pipe comes into the house, and turn it clockwise. If it won’t turn, we talk you through the next step on the phone.
You can join, but the plan won’t cover that job. On Boiler Care, breakdown visits on Care and Complete start after a 30-day waiting period, and faults that already exist aren’t included.
The engineer comes back once the part arrives, at a fixed time inside a two-hour window.
Yes. Leak, tap and radiator repairs are everyday work for us. If the water is contained, it can go in the diary as a booked repair.
Members get priority booking and whatever their tier includes: breakdown visits on the Care and Complete boiler plans, and a repair contribution on the Care and Protect heat pump and air conditioning plans. On air conditioning, members pay £96 an hour against £144 off a plan.
